Privacy Policy

Howebz processes account information, structured business content, uploaded media, subscription records, first-party product activity and security or operational logs to provide and secure the service.

How information is used

Information is used for authentication, website generation, preview, publishing, support, fraud prevention and service operation. We also record a limited set of product milestones, such as generation, preview, save, Dashboard editing, publishing and upgrade-request events, to understand onboarding and publishing problems and improve the service. Public website information is visible only after a successful publish.

Authorized support access

Authorized Howebz administrators may access a customer's saved website Draft and Dashboard information in a read-only support view when needed to troubleshoot setup or publishing. Administrators remain signed in under their own account, and this access is recorded in an internal Admin audit trail. This access does not impersonate the customer, modify the Draft, publish the website or notify the customer automatically.

Product activity data

Product activity records contain the milestone type, customer or temporary website journey identifier where applicable, website identifier, time and small allow-listed operational details such as a Template ID, edited section name or publish blocker code. They do not contain passwords, session credentials, AI prompts, form contents, Draft snapshots, raw provider errors, IP-based profiles, user-agent fingerprints, mouse movements, keystrokes or session recordings. Product activity events are retained for up to 180 days and then are eligible for deletion. Security and Admin audit records have separate retention requirements.

Service providers

Hosting, authentication, database, storage, email, domain and payment providers may process limited information needed to deliver their services. No third-party behavioral analytics service is used for the product activity described above.
